Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun has once again made her mark in the international scene. She was the biggest female winner at the 7th Global Chinese Music Awards, taking home a total of five awards.
She bagged the “Favorite Female Singer” title for the fifth year, solidifying her position in the mandopop scene. She also won awards for “Top 20 Singles”, “Best Album”, “Top 5 Favorite Female Singers” and “Best Singapore Singer”.
The three-hour award ceremony, which was held in Hong Kong on Sunday, saw some 28 awards given out to Chinese artistes all over Asia.
Winners were determined based on their achievements on the music charts of seven major radio stations across Asia, including Beijing Music Radio, Taipei Hit Fm and Singapore’s YES 933Fm.
