Lee Byeong Heon, to attend Hong Kong International Film Festival as award presenter

BH Entertainment announced on the 19th Hallyu Star Lee Byeong Heon will be attending the Hong Kong International Film Festival.

Lee Byeong Heon was invited to the 1st Annual Asian Film Awards that will be held on the first day as the presenter of the Best Director Award. He will be joined by Hong Kong’s actor and director Daniel Woo along with Indonesia’s star Nicholas Saputra.

Those nominated for the award include Directors Hong Sang Soo of ‘Woman on the Beach,’ Jia Zhangke of ‘Still Life,’ Jafar Panahi of ‘Offside,’ Johnnie To of ‘Exiled,’ Tsai Ming-liang of ‘I Don’t Want to Sleep Alone,’ and Apichatpong Weerasethakul of ‘Syndromes and a Century.’

The first annual Asian Film Awards will present awards in 10 different categories to 34 movies that received the most spotlight in 2006.
