Balladeer Christian Bautista just can’t help but publicly declare his love for his on and off-stage partner Rachelle Ann Go over and over again.
In an interview with Magandang Umaga Pilipinas Friday, Bautista admitted that he was so lucky to have Rachelle in his life.
"I’m really, really lucky because of Rachelle and she knows that I love her very much, no matter what," the 25-year-old heartthrob said.
Bautista and Go started playing sweet music together last year during the shoot of the music video for their duet "You and Me (We Wanted It All)" in the United States.
The courtship lasted for a year before Go accepted Bautista’s love.
Proof that the public also approved of their romance was the successful outcome of their first Valentine concert last February 13 at the Aliw Theater.
Their tandem being a certified hit, the reality TV singing contest sensations turned idols have agreed to do an off shoot of their "You and Me" concert in the US.
The lovebirds will perform in California on April 13 at Spreckels Theater in San Diego; April 14 at Kofman Auditorium, Alameda, San Francisco Bay; April 15 at Los Angeles Trade-Tech College Grand Theater; April 20 at Hanford Fox Theater; and in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 21.
After the US concert tour, Bautista will have his solo concert at the Araneta Coliseum on April 28. The baptism of fire concert is billed as "Christian Bautista: Greatest Love Songs Live."
From being a contestant who was eliminated before the finals of ABS-CBN’s Star in a Million contest in 2003, Bautista has come a long way as he is now touted as Asia’s Pop Idol.
