Ahn Jae Wook spends Valentine’s Day with 13,000 fans in concert in Japan

"Asia’s Knight" Ahn Jae Wook returned to Korea after spending a peculiar Valentine’s Day.

On February 14th, Ahn Jae Wook performed at the Saitama Super Arena singing seven of his hit songs in front of 13,000 Japanese fans and media.

The concert was a full package Valentine’s Day concert with top Korean singers offering a fantastic performance and entertaining fans.

The Saitama Super Arena is known for its modern systems and facilities. Artists such as U2, Rolling Stones, and Madonna also performed at the arena, and is used for K-1, Pride, Hero, and other official sports. In 2005, Bae Yong Joon held a fan meeting at the arena as well.

The concert started at 6pm, with a special event featuring the K-1 athlete Choi Hong Man and Japanese singer Rei’s performance. Ahn Jae Wook started the main part of the concert with his performance at 7pm.

Ahn Jae Wook moved the hearts of fans by delivering a passionate performance despite a recent cold. Songs performed include his opening stage song ‘Geudae Ddeonagadoh (Though you leave),’ along with ‘Friend,’ ‘Good-bye,’ and ending with ‘Forever’ as his encore performance.

Also along with autographed handkerchiefs that were presented throughout the concert, Ahn Jae Wook opened his official Japanese website (www.jaewook.jp) simultaneously with the start of the event.

The concert, continued with performances by SG Wannabe, Shinhwa, and other top Korean singers, gathered much attention from the press and media once again showing the popularity of Hallyu.

Meanwhile, Ahn Jae Wook who also attended the Hallyu Expo event held on Jeju Island this past February 4th despite being on vacation, once again showed his love for his fans through the stage.
